Lens-Artists Challenge #264 Primary Colors

This week Sofia of Photographias invited me to play with primary colours. I can pick one color or show examples of all 3, separately or together. What kind of feelings or moods do any of them instill in my photography, do you actively look for them or enjoy being surprised by the possibilities they present?

Red

Red peppers from the local farmer’s market
One of my favorite berries is the strawberry

Red cars grab my attention especially when they are vintage automobiles.

Yellow

Yellow reminds me of Spring flowers

Yellow Hibiscus – Maui Hawaii
Captures the eye!
Yellow smiley faces with a couple of color intruders. LOL!

Blue

Blue gives me a serene feeling. But some of these images show me that blue can be a spunky color.

Monterey Bay

And a mix of the primary colors

Together red, blue, and yellow flowers

This post is short and sweet. I hope that you surround yourself with vibrant primary colors.

  1. I always wonder, are these photos taken for this class assignment or are they from your past collections?

Do you have to go hunting to find these color arrangements right after class?

How much time do you get to fulfill the assignment?

  2. What amazing galleries you shared here. Yellow gallery full of wonderful flowers, your reds made my day but my absolute favourite has to be the swimmers, spectacular shot.

  3. Wonderful colors in this beautiful gallery Marlene. Loved them all but if pushed to choose I’d go with the reds because of the car with the yellow plate. But the lollipops are also perfect!
